"What is this.. the nurses job to hurt me, and my job to hurt??!!"

So after finally hearing that they think its an infection now my other doctor has come in and said "no, no no, we dont see infection." I am so confused if I dont have an infection why do I feel so bad? And why can they not figure out whats wrong with me??? I have been pretty sleepy this afternoon, what started out as a better day kind of went down hill. I told the nurse that she is hurting me, she told me she doesnt mean to but it is her job, so I told her then it must be my job to hurt :( They keep making me stand up to drain my bladder and I just dont want to do it. I am just tired of it all. Something has got to give....

A note from the family... Thank you all for the prayers and comments that you have sent to lexton. We have been reading them to him and he really likes them and they do bring some joy into his day! Please continue to pray for him and for all of us. Pray that the doctors can find an answer!! We appreciate all of the love and support you all show!

  1. Lexton, That red nose is too cute!! I am having trouble sleeping thinking about you being in that old hospital. I know dad will keep you safe tonight. Sure glad you have such a big family that loves you. And friends too! I still have your pictures on my fridge. I will need some new ones soon so maybe you could work on that while you are lying around. Talk to you tomorrow.

  4. Hi Lexton, I work with your daddy at Sprint! I've never met you personally, but Iv'e seen your pictures and your dad talks about you all of the time at work. He tells us how very brave you are and how proud he is of you! I'm truly sorry that you're feeling tired/bad lately, and I hope that you get well very soon! Did you get to look out the window at the snow that was falling outside today? Brrr it is so very cold outside when it snows. I hope that after you start to feel all better, that the next time it snows in Texas, you and your Mom and Dad can play in the snow outside together and make Snow Angels, and Build a Big Snowman--maybe one with a Big Red Nose like the red nose you were wearing in the picture. You can also have a fun Snow ball fight too! Tell your Dad to tell that nurse that she must be more careful when she's doing her job, or she might just get a snowball tossed at her the next time it snows (lol-just kidding)...I Hope U Feel Better Real Soon Lexton!

  9. Hey Lexton,
I know it feels yucky to be sick. I am home sick today too. It is a real bummer. I hope we are both feeling better soon and back at school. Tell those nurses to stop hurting you or your PE teacher will have to come up there and make them run some laps or do some push ups:). Or better yet, as strong as you are, you might push them out of your room yourself!! I can't wait to see you back in the gym playing again soon. I know we are all praying for you too! We miss you, stay strong and tell Brailee to read the books to you that we sent! She is a great big sister!
    Love,
    Mrs. Morton

  11. Lexton,
Guess what the #1 question is in our class? No it's not "Can I go to the bathroom?" It is "When will Lexton be back?" I tell them that you will be back once you are well and ready. Seeing your empty desk is sad to me but I know I have to be patient and let you get well before you come back.
I hope tomorrow brings good news and the doctors can get you up and running around soon.
Hang in there and show them what a tough boy your are by getting well!
    Love,
    Ms. Allen
